Data Deletion

You have the right to request deletion of all personal data WhatRev holds about you. This page explains what gets deleted and how to request it.

To delete your data, email us:

Send a deletion request to hello@whatrev.com with your registered WhatsApp number. We will process your request within 7 business days and confirm via email when done.

What gets deleted

Your WhatsApp number and account record
Your Shopify OAuth access token (encrypted)
Your Meta Ads access token (encrypted), if connected
Your Google Ads access token (encrypted), if connected
Your monthly revenue target
Your subscription record and send history
Any generated report card images stored in our system

What is not stored (and therefore not deleted)

WhatRev does not permanently store your Shopify order data, customer data, or ad campaign data. This data is fetched fresh each day to generate your report card and is not retained in our database. Deletion of your account removes the access tokens, which means we can no longer access this data going forward.

Connected platform tokens

When you delete your WhatRev account, we revoke or delete our stored copy of your OAuth tokens. To fully revoke WhatRev's access at the source, you can also:

Shopify: Go to your Shopify Admin → Settings → Apps and sales channels → WhatRev → Delete
Meta: Go to Facebook Settings → Security and Login → Apps and Websites → WhatRev → Remove
Google: Go to myaccount.google.com → Security → Third-party apps → WhatRev → Remove access

Facebook / Meta data deletion callback

If you connected WhatRev via Facebook and request data deletion through Facebook's platform, Facebook will notify us automatically. We will process the deletion within 7 business days. You will receive a confirmation code you can use to verify the deletion was completed.
